Bushing

The flexible joint in suspensions and linkages

A bushing combines an inner tube, a rubber layer and an outer sleeve. Installed at control arms, stabiliser bars and shock absorber eyes, it permits limited rotation and movement while filtering road shocks. Voids in the rubber create different stiffness in different directions.

Key features

Three-layer build

Inner tube, rubber and outer sleeve bonded in one — press in and go.

Directional stiffness

Voids tune radial and axial stiffness separately.

Fatigue resistant

Natural rubber compounds handle repeated torsion and impact.

Rubber-only option

Plain rubber bushings for lighter-duty positions.
