Rubber Mount

Steel to carry the load, rubber to kill vibration

A rubber mount combines a stamped steel bracket with natural rubber, bonded in a single vulcanizing step. The steel carries loads and provides mounting; the rubber isolates vibration and absorbs shocks. Natural rubber’s high resilience, low heat build-up and excellent metal bonding make it the material of choice.

Key features

Vulcanized bond

Rubber bonded to steel during curing for fatigue-resistant strength.

Vibration isolation

Rubber damping reduces transmission to the body.

Tunable stiffness

Adjusted via compound hardness and rubber geometry.

Corrosion protection

E-coat, zinc plating or painting for the steel.
