CAAM: China sold 34.4 million vehicles in 2025 and exported 7.1 million

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China produced 34.531 million vehicles in 2025, up 10.4%, and sold 34.4 million, up 9.4%.

• NEV sales reached 16.49 million, up 28.2%, or 47.9% of all new-vehicle sales;
• Vehicle exports totalled 7.098 million, up 21.1%;
• NEV exports doubled to 2.615 million units.
