According to industry media, China sold about 1.1449 million heavy trucks in 2025, up 27% year on year and an increase of more than 240,000 units — the best result in four years. Market concentration increased, with the top five makers holding nearly 90% share, while new energy heavy-truck penetration rose quickly toward year-end.
Chinese heavy-truck brands also continued to expand overseas, with several manufacturers growing export volumes.

Heavy-truck engines are typically turbocharged and intercooled. Charge-air cooler hoses face high temperatures and pressure pulsation, making them a primary application for multi-ply silicone hose.
